How it works.

Buying:

• Search the site for the items you want by using the selection buttons on the left.
• If you find something you like,  press the Enquire/Order Now button shown against the item to send a confidential email to the artist or craftsman.
• The enquiry or sale will be dealt with directly by the artist or craftsman. NO MONEY CHANGES HANDS AT THIS STAGE.
• Pay for the item as agreed with the artist or craftsman. We keep a record of all our advertisers including full name and address so your money is safe.
• Wait for your item to arrive. That's it!

Selling:

• List your item free of charge for up to 12 weeks
• INCLUDE P&P.
• Select any of the optional extra selling items.
• Print out as many free marketing prints as you like and display them or give them out as required.
• Adjust your SPAM filter to accept emails from MyOwnCreation and wait to be contacted by a customer.
• When a customer sends you an enquiry or order request; reply to it immediately. If its an order then you must collect the money in your usual way and despatch the item as soon as possible. There are no commission charges.
• That's it!

• All listings (text) are free.
• Open to everyone.
• There is no restriction on the number of items you can list for free. List as many items as you like but each one must have its own unique Reference No.
• Do not list a range of goods in a single listing.
• Item cannot be  valued at more than £1000.
• Customers DO NOT need to register in order to browse or buy. Once your item is listed, anyone can contact you about it although your personal details are kept secret. We reserve the right to release your details to customers in the event of a dispute.
• You must be the legal owner of the item.
• You must not infringe any copyright or pass off other peoples work as your own. Keep it legal.
• You must NOT advertise your own web site in your listings description.
• All items must be in first class condition, clean and intact.
• You are responsible for postage, packing and returns.
• You cannot sell pre-owned earrings.
• Items deemed to be unsuitable will be removed from the site. Pornography is NOT allowed.

What happens
Listing your item is very easy and only takes 5 minutes. Once listed and accepted by Admin visitors to the site will be able to search for and select your item to view. If they like it they can send you a message via our secure email system telling you who they are and talk to you about your work. If they want to buy your item, it will be up to you to carry out the negotiation. YOU get to keep all the money you make from the sale so remember,  you must collect payment yourself by whatever means you are happy with.  If you are happy with the site and the connections it allows you to make, perhaps you would consider making a donation to us to help with future development.

IMPORTANT! Once you have registered an item you will recieve emails from us AND potential customers through our server (system@myowncreation.co.uk) so its very important that you adjust your spam killer to allow them through.

You have control
Once your item is listed you will be able to log onto the site using the Reference Number and the password you chose when you listed the item. You can then change some of the details recorded there. Please keep your record up to date.

Your details
Your personal details remain confidential and are not passed on to the customer until you, yourself, wish to do so. We do not pass on your information to any 3rd party so you should not receive unsolicited mail from anyone else. We will keep you up to date by email on what is happening with your item and listing and may, from time to time, keep you informed about events on this site.
